Born and raised in Alabama, Jennifer J. Clayton attended undergrad at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide!!) and obtained an M.F.A from Florida State University. She decided her true passion was law and moved to Texas to attend Baylor Law School—”the Marine Corps of law schools.” She interned with a federal magistrate while still in law school and was fortunate to have exceptional mentors throughout her legal career.
Graduating from Baylor Law School in July 2004 and passing the November bar exam, Jennifer has been licensed to practice law since 2005 and has 21 years of experience in litigation and trial advocacy. She is a highly qualified, skilled and versatile attorney with substantial experience in multiple areas of the law, including civil litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, motor vehicles and commercial trucking accidents, DRAM shop, mass torts, construction defect, product liability, breach of contract/warranty and consumer protection. Jennifer has worked as both a plaintiff and defense attorney in state and federal courts and has extensive understanding of how insurance companies think and practice. She uses this knowledge daily for the benefit of her clients and to get the results they deserve.
